Recycled Leather Asymmetrical Bronze Slapper
WOOOO baby! This may be my favorite impact toy that I own. It truly packs a punch. Both sound and pain are amplified with the layers of leather. I took a modern approach and tiered the slapper in an asymmetrical way with 8 bronze rivets on the handle for stability.
Pain Rating - 8/10
This piece is made of recycled leather taken from a trash pile in a local leather studio because it was deemed too thick. I have taken it, hand cut, dyed, burnished, and conditioned this leather in order for it to be usable! There are some discolorations as well as blemishes on the leather and there may be variance in thickness.
There are 2 A-grade and B-grade pieces. The A-grade look similar to the one shown in the photos. The B-grade slappers are just as good implements, but with more character. They are slightly uneven or have some scratches.
